|
|
Hello all,
I am having some sound problems with my little Dell. I got it a few weeks ago with upgraded features:
XP SP1--> XP SP2
40GB HD-->100GB HD
1.4 GHZ processor--> 2.1GHZ Processor
windows office 2003--> windows office 2007.
Yesterday (2/06/07) the sound went. i now cannot hear anything without additional speakers which is a real bummer since i carry it everywhere with me, can you please help me? |

by additional speakers, do you mean ones u plug into the headphone jack, or the ones that were built into the laptop as the external sound component?
Cuz if u mean the ones u plug in, then its better off to jus go with getting some headphones, becuz the other ones are annoying. And the sound quality sucks as well. I enjoy either using my surround sound headset/headphones or actually plugging in my bass and 5 satellites. |

| Try remapping your speakers if you have not tried that already. When I went to SP2 I had a similar problem. Sometimes it just freaked out and set the speakers to "headphones", not sure why and it reset to head phones more than once. |
