hi could any one tell me what free program i could use for repainting planes for mfs 2004 and tell me i could get it

First, you will need DXTbmp to convert the extended image files from FS into a working format for your image editor. Get it here...

As far as editors go, many of use MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop. There are some fine freeware editors out there as well. One is Pixia, available here...

There are many threads relating to texture work here in our forums, as well as several fine tutorials on the web easily found with a quick search. Most of the major flightsim sites have texture tutorials and tools as well.
