|
|
Hello all, I would like to request a repaint for the Simulation Software Workshop Airbus A310-300. There is normally a paintkit available on their website so that anyone can repaint the plane to their liking however their server for this and other downloads has been out for months and there is no word about when it will be back up. I can, however, send you the default textures to use as a paint kit. The plane comes only with Airbus house colors. If I undertand it correctly it is possible to use the default texture set in lieu of a paintkit. I would like the plane painted in Northwest's new silver paint scheme. See the link below for the scheme that I mean. The aircraft in the picture is an A330.

How about it? Any takers? If you will repaint this plane for me then send me a PM with an email address that I can send the texture set to so that you can use it as a paintkit. It would be greatly appreaciated. |

| This is a payware aircraft. It would be problematic to do a repaint without the actual model to verify texture placement. It would also be illegal to distribute without permission/purchase. |

Dudes! I just found out that the model for the payware SSW airbus was based on Harald Nehring's model. The textures for Harald Nehring's model also work on the SSW model with no problems. The file names are even the same.
So, MU HU Ha ha ha ha,
with that said, here's a link to the page with both the model and paint kit for Harald Nehring's freeware A310:
http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=nehring+airbus&CatID=root&Go=Search
So once again, any takers on the task of repainting Harald Nehring's A310 in Northwest's new colors? |

| Harald's A310 is a wonderful aircraft but one of the biggest pains to repaint. The textures are all tossed about half-hazardly, hard to make a template for. I had one but I looked and it was gone or else I'd offer. |

I did take a look at this. I got the textures, and, oh my.
I agree with Pete on this one. Without a decent template, I won't touch it. Sorry.

| Well thanks anyway for at least lookin at it. I guess if you had to turn your monitor on its side to paint this one the mouse movements would be 90 degrees off and make you feel like you're drunk after a few minutes. |
