I took my first airborne flight lesson today!

My instructor and I took off from Butler Co/Scholter at about 12:00 in a Piper Warrior, did some turning practice, then landed. It was only an introductory flight, but it was much more interesting than flying on a computer!

Well, we had alot of turbluence, so it was like using the simulator on a roller coaster! alot more difficult
simming did help me in knowing about all the instruments, and how they respond to the aircraft's movements, but im pretty much starting from scratch when im in a real plane.

Congrats King OF air350, I took my first serious one in September last year, in a PA38 Tomahawk out of Biggin Hill, (EGKB) Kent. UK.

But I did do some years ago in the ATC

Lanc
Hunter
Varsity
Anson
Chipmunk (loads)

OOpps, nearly forgot the Gnat.

God, those were the days.

yeah- i really have grown to love panels in piper aircraft. They really make it seem like more of a car than an aircraft- a better learning experience
