I went on my CFS3 today and the textures all of a sudden look like a 3 year old took then and smugged them all over the place, there are no feilds or roads or any of the stuff that makes it look half good, and it also makes it impossible to find ground enemies.

I have put all of my graphics to full, and since the last time I was on it nothing in my hardware has changed. I had no warning or anything.

Any suggestions on getting back the not-smugged-by-a-three-year-old textures are appreiciated.

I have a ATI RADEON 9600SE video card and an 800MHZ processor (and I know that it can't run MS word)

alright then... now it wont even start up

I will post up the pic when I get it working

I ran CFS3 for a bit. The graphics were okay for me, I have the 9600xt128pro on Pentium4/3ghz machine. The terrain does see some improvement with judicious use of addons. What I didnt like about it was the requirement to have similar installs to perform muliplayer events.

LOL, I only fly CFS when I am bored, so I don't have any add-ons.
I will try and get some, doubt there are many

Have a look here for starters....can't remember if you need to do the 'Free registration thing' in order to actually download stuff.

Maybe do some serious Googling for similar pages. best of luck, I fly CFS1 every now and then for something a little more visceral. Hey...have a look at SurClaro's d'load pages too, don't we have a CFS category? (Can't remember and too lazy to look, lol!)
