I thought I told you to stay away from the FS9 Booby Sites.
Some people just don't listen. Sheesh

To be completely honest with you- does it really matter whether or not FS9 is dual-core compatible or not??
I mean, not to say it's not nice or anythin, but I mean- the difference between about 40-50 fps (about the norm) to 100 fps- can you really notice that difference??
When it comes to FSX- yeah, I'll bet it matters. A hell of a lot. But when it comes to FS9- does it matter at all??
Just a question- tryin to get some opinions. |

| Hmmm, you know...I never thought of that. Most people are happy to get around 30 FPS consistently. me, I'm happy if my frames stay above 10 on me ol' P3 (quit that snickering  ). I just happened across the linked page above while browsing Google's 'Groups' for the first time, looking for FS9 stuff I guess. Come to think of it, it was probably common knowledge that if tweaked properly, FS9 would take advantage of the dual-core setups.....I guess I was getting that issue confused with the fact that FS9 did not support SLI setups....sorta thought I had found something neat and it just turned into a big pile of useless kife and wasted space. That happens sometimes...you think you might be onto something valuable and once posted, you realize that your useless info was already digested and spat out by the masses a year ago! But I'm not bitter. *tries to eat computer mouse...makes gargling, choking sounds and decides to check rest of forum for something useful.* |

LMAO...
It happens to even the best of us. We see something, read it, get convinced it is so, but the reality is....
IT CAN'T DO IT.

I seem to remember reading on here somewhere that video runs at about 20 something fps, so I doubt that FS9 running anything above that would be noticable to the eye.
