I like to tune in to "Ninja Warrior". It's basically an obstacle course from hell over in Japan. I get a full work out just watching those dudes break it down for real. No hollywood stunts on this show. Real people, going for it, all out.

Um, what?
You can't fly because of weather and you are posting about what else there is to do to pass the time spent not flying on a web board dedicated to flying...
I like to look up random words in the dictionary...
Like Irony for instance...
Otherwise, I hunt penguins.

Hey, it's summertime (here anyway), so there's always something to BBQ.
...nooo, I don't mean BBQ penguins!

T.V. only catches my brief attention so...lots of simming, a fair bit of amateur flightsim developing, web surfing, research, lounging, dreaming, plunk away on the guitar, draw something, get my daily SurClaro fix, clean something, fix something, put something off until tomorrow, cue up a whack of music, porch sitting is important, cooking, eating, digesting...you know, the important stuff. Priorities, eh?

For your area I recommend the Caribou, but the Moose is also a must try!
I prefer to serve the Caribou with a cheeky white wine, and the Moose goes best with a bold Port.

I think we hijacked this thread...
But it begs me to ask the question...

What is a "whack" up to value wise in Canada any more?

And don't be afraid of the penguin jokes, the filter should catch most of the really bad stuff.

I think I know the penguin joke! non of the words are dirty, so any young children probably won't get it... ok... here goes

a penguin takes his car to a mechanic and leaves it there for the afternoon. the mechanic said it would take a little while to figure it out, Mr Penguin could just go over to the cafe for a snack while he waits or something.

the Penguin goes over and decides to have an ice cream cone. totally distracted by who knows what, he dosen't even notice that Ice cream started running down the side of his beak and onto his face.

When the penguin gets back to the mechanic, he sees him with his head under the hood. he asks "So, did ya figure out what was wrong?"

the mechanic looks up and says "looks like you blew a seal"

the penguin replies "no no, it's just ice cream."

Yeah, this does seem quite hijacked now, eh?
Cat1, to me 'a whack' is a whole lot. More than normal. Enough to keep you going for a while...as in "That's a whack-o-fries you got there", or "You're going to need a whack -o- jer sauce to make that pork tenderloin submit on the BBQ"

I actually have a perfectly clean penguin joke as well as the rude ones.

A policeman patrolling the highway notices a guy cruising along with 6 penguins in the backseat of his car and pulls him over to get an explanation.
"I found them wandering the backyard this morning, Officer, I'm just taking them to the zoo now."
Satisfied, the cop sends him on his way and resumes his day.
The next day at around the same time, the cop sees the same guy cruising down the road, 6 penguins in the back seat, and promptly stops him again.
"I thought you said you were off to the zoo with those penguins yesterday sir, what on earth is going on here?"
The man replied "We went to the zoo yesterday Officer, today we're going to the movies."
