| Im just doing my first ever repaint following the tutorial from calclassic.com, the only difference being is Im using Photoshop pro as opposed to paintshop pro (because I havent got it) what Im trying to find out is how to to use a picture I already have ;as a Tailfin logo, can someone please tell me or point me in the direction of a tutorial of how to import such a picture as a T/Fin logo, thank you for any help you can offer me. |

| Once you have the tail texture in your editor (having been placed there by DXTbmp), you then open the desired image you want to use, then use your tools to resize, trim, crop or whatever to get the desired portion to fit your tail. I always select the area I want to fill with the image and use "paste into". Once you have it the way you want, then "merge visible" and "save" . Go back to DXTbmp (hopefully you didnt close it) and "reload after edit", make sure you have MipMaps/include when saving UN-checked for best clarity in the sim. Then save and answer yes to overwrite. |
