|
|
Alright. Since I got my graphics card (which is PCI-E) and I have only AGP.... I'm going to need a new motherboard and a new PS at least 650W.
We went to the computer stores yesterday and came up with the following specs that interested us:
Core2 Quad (Q6600) Processor
Gigabyte P-35-DS3R Motherboard
RAM 2GB DDR2 PC-8500 (1066MHz)
Power Supply 620W
XFX GeForce 8800 Ultra
What do you think? Is the PS big enough? Remember I also have a 120GB and a 500GB hard drives installed... and a DVD ROM and a 19" monitor

| It's fine, I kinda doubt you're going to be burning dvd's while flying FS and downloading a cool new several hundred megabyte game demo all at the same time. |

| Whoa, what a machine! The Q6600 should be kinda good, if not great! One of the things I was recommended for FSX. Also, the GFX card looks great! |

Sounds great.
Now, you will be able to see all of the "Eye Candy" (tiny cars, boats and animals).
I hope that it also helps you to study for your Private Pilot's license. The cost of the Video Card along is equal to seven or eight private lessons. 8) 8) |

Haha, yea, I also see the potential!
I am really excited to get these specification!
I can't wait to be firing up FSX after these hardware systems get delivered.
