| I will be very interested in learning to use 'layers' when painting my half(baked) finished aircraft. I've never done it before. Can you 'import' a layer onto a bitmap? Can you just ask for another 'layer' and start painting over the first one, and have them be separate entities? This is going to be lots of fun, and make my paintjobs way more realistic looking. And what the heck is a 'cheat stripe'? I heard Exxman refer to it way back, something about 'if you forget to include the 'cheat stripe, when you save the file, repainters can't separate the layers to paint properly'. I'm going to have to look into all this stuff over the next month or so...I'll post back any good links I come up with while researching the new possibilities with layering. |

| Check the repainting tips over at Calclassic (http://www.calclassic.com/repaint.htm) for some layer hints and tips. The info is a little dated but the technique stands. |
