Hey Guys,
If you have a minute, I'm having some trouble with my NVidia whatever it's called.
(I think it's a graphics or video card) Anyway, I updated it, and now FSX is lagging. I got a better thing, but now my FSX won't run smoothly. If I roll-back my card, FSX is fine. Thing is, I like to use Cinema 4D too. Cinema 4D only runs with the update. Any idea's from you all will be appreciated.

Cheers!

Another case of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Nvidia cards, to me, are the best. HOWEVER. Do not update the drivers, unless you really, seriously, need to.

90% of the time, when you update the driver for an Nvidia card, you will have more problems than what you started with. It is the nature of the beast.

99% of the time, you are better off running your basic driver that came with it. If you think you get a newer driver, that everything will improve, guess what. You just wrecked it, or made it worse.

Reinstall your original driver that came with your card. I'll bet your house, Mother, that it returns to a better place.

Thanks RD,

That's what I have been doing. As I said in my OP, I like to use Cinema 4D too, and that requires the update. I know that FSX works better without it. I guess I'll just have to keep taking the 5 minutes to switch betweent the two.

Cheers and Thanks!

Hey, I got it working.

Don't ask me why, BUT, the problem was actually that I didn't have anti-alias on. Normally without the update, that would make FSX jam. Now, it makes it NOT jam. :?

Kinda wierd, but hey, if it works I don't care.

Yes, Anti-aliasing is a FRAME RATE KILLER.

Glad to hear the problem is resolved.
