Having aquired Kai Tak, (VHHX). It presented me with a small problem, because there is no AI traffic assigned to the old airport, it is void of all A/C other than my own. So, I need to re-assign AI Aircraft back to Kai Tak.

Question:

Each airport is listed in the airport directory of TTools with it's Co-ord's, where in any airport is this location read from ?.

Once I have this info, I think I can take it from there, unless of course anyone has any hints or tips.

Thanks

Mel.

Mel...open VHHX in AFCAD2, go to FILE/PROPERTIES and it'll show the coordinates.

VHHX
LAT: N22* 18.9838'
LON: E114* 12.3210'

and...the coordinates are usually from the center of the airfield.

FROM THE AFCAD2 READ-ME:

Latitude - Longitude

This sets the location of the Airport Reference Point. That point is shown as a pink spiky dot. The airport reference point is the approximate center of the airport for navigation purposes. If you are creating a new airport you can usually use the Airport Location from the published charts for the airport. If that is not available then you can use the center point of the runway for single-runway installations. This point does not have to be exact. If you are modifying an existing airport then you can just drag the Airport Reference Point around with the mouse.

Great, thanks Rick........ knew there had to be a simple solution, sometimes you go blind when you look too hard.

Thanks Buddy.
