Hi guys!!!!

I were browsing the internet and the I found a site called www.simkits.com
So I was inspired!!!!
Guess what,I want to build my own cockpit but now I need instruments and I dont want to buy that instruments on simkits.com!!!!

So if any1 knows of other instrument sales or tips or help,give your reply!

i dont know about "gauges" ... but as for some DIY (do it yourself) controls... you might be able to do something with a standard 102 key keyboard as shown in this video on youtube.com

I have often dreamed of having the space to set up my own cockpit too. Before I got involved with school, I researched the subject considerably and remember reading several instances where homebuilders used salvaged instruments in their cockpits. The sensing mechanisms were removed and stepper motors drove the gearing to produce the instrument movement. Unfortunately, I don't remember where I read this information, but I'm sure if you do a search for homebuilt simulators, you can find more information than you can read in a few days.

About 5 months ago, I switched from the old monitor to the Flat Screen monitor.

oh look, skipper has an intercom system by the monitor so he can call his Flight Attendant (oops i mean wife) and ask her to bring him something to drink.. lol JUST KIDDING!!!
