I have downlloaded and printed a flight adventure and Rhythmosaur's tutorial. Both uses Learjet 45, and both refers to Autothrottle(Ath).
What frustrates me is that I cannot locate the controls. Either I am blind or need new glasses...hehehe Is there such a control?
Oh by the way, Rhythmosaur, your tutorial is good but what I find is, that I have to guess of what to do. For example on page when you mentioned, I quote; "a decent rate of 1800fpm at 240-250kt". To what altitude are you decenting to, from FL400?
Oh yes, the screenshots are cool, but takes a lot of paper if one wants to print the file. |

...and what is the point of your post? :?:
With the decent rats thingy: decent to the altitude the ATC tells you to decent. |

Yellowbird, the Learjet does not have an auto throttle "switch", so you're not blind. You only need to set the speed on the indicator and then use the IAS or MACH button (with auto-pilot engaged) located to the right of the indicator to activate it.

Wow Guido...you're getting awfully ballsy there. Seems to me I remember not to long ago a member that quite frequently posted on here with no real apparent point, yet did so none the less.
Hope you're not falling into the "I've been here a while, I know everything, and your post is a waste of my time" slump. |

1. you don't need to have AP on to use IAS hold
2. I don't think that, I just didn't understand what he was trying to say, I've read it three times, and still couldn't understand, but I should have read between the lines. Sorry Yellowbird  |

Thank you for the hint, yellowbird. I was never thinking of printing it out, should add a printable version. Hmmm, but trhan I had to change the structure completely because this tutorial lives on his pics. I'll think about it.
