I just put the link to my tut in my signature at Farmy's site.
You think I should remove the link? It also has info for accessing screenshots. |

Welcome to SurClaro Stubby1. :D
First off, we need to know whether your using FS9(FS2004) or FSX. There is a difference on where to put the files in each sim.
Secondly, the files for both are open and not hidden. It depends on where (what drive, if not "C") that you installed the sim on.
Thirdly, what download did you get??? If possible, post up the link to it, or the name of the .zip that you got, and from where.
This may sound complicated at first, but it isn't.
But let's start with the above, before we go any further.

Everyone else, if possible, please do not reply to this. |

The files I downloaded were for FSX.
I can see all the files in the .zip file.
I unhid all the folders and files under Prog Files/MicrosoftGames/Flight sim and still can not see the main folders to drop the unzipped files into like Aircraft, Panel, Sounds etc. |

Ok cool.
What your looking for, to install the aircraft, is a folder called "SimObjects". There you will find a folder for "Aircraft". Put that unzipped download (just the aircraft) into it. Make sure that it has all the main folders and files that are needed to fly the plane.
As for the other files that may or not be with it, follow along.
Gauges... They go into the main "Gauges" folder.
Sounds... They can stay with the a/c, or you can put them in the "Sound" folder.
Effects... These also go into the main "Effects" folder. Just make sure there is or isn't a texture .bmp inside the download. If so, then you also need to put the "texture" inside the "Texture" folder inside the "Effects" folder.
That should pretty much cover it. If you need more help, let me know.
