Is there any addon or method allowing you to measure distance (in feet) on the flight simulator?
What I would like to do is use my real aircraft's POH and a flight computer to practice calculating performance-related things like takeoff ground roll and landing distance.
The calculations are based on density altitude, temperature, humidity, etc. Having the ability to measure the distance it takes to takeoff would be great practice in figuring out my airplane performance.
Does anybody have any ideas? |

I don't know of any utility than can perform the functions you're seeking---not to say that none exist, however---but I do have a suggestion.
Visit AvSim, SimViation, et, al. and look into their FSX or even FS9 Utilities downloads sections. Find out who seems to be the most prolific utility designers and get in touch with them to see if they might be interested in designing or developing what you want? 8O
