Take a look at these screenies, from Real Environment Xtreme for FS9

http://www.flightsimworld.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=140531

They are UNBELIEVABLE. Long live FS9!!!

Of course, also check out Real Environment Xtreme (REX) for FSX. The FS9 product will be released shortly after the FSX product appears in the market.

REX has been in beta testing since March. I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT TO BUY THIS. IMO, the graphics are by far the best when compared to those of Flight Environment X and HIFI Sim's X Graphics.

Ha in my dreams.

I play like, the least video games or the such, in my school's male population.

I just browse the web the whole day out of boredom, nothing to do, and my parents won't want to spend money on parts for a new gaming computer.

I understand. This is not the first time that I've seen similar circumstances in the threads before. When you're young, things can't possibly happen fast enough. When you're a bit older, things happen so fast that you have a tough time coping, adjusting and praying for more time to spare!

But at age 3, it's pretty hard to make anything happen for yourself outside the the playpen, understandably!

Just kidding, T-Fish! Somewhat you're own fault for signaturing age 3. Which leads me to get on about something that has been bugging me for a long time, "ABOUT SIG FILES."

I understand that it's sometimes fun to play around with Sig's occasionally, but SOME of us older feller's really appreciate understanding to whom we are speaking/posting our responses to, especially at times like these. How else are we to come to share a better understanding of each other without once in a while getting the real *beep* on a guy? Some small reference to geographic location also can be very helpful! I'm not pointing a finger at you, T-Fish! Perhaps you have put up more proper information in the past and I've missed it. But for all the rest, it's something to consider! My two-cents worth!

T-Fish, there is a bright spot coming right at you! You just don't see it, yet! I know it because I've been really hoping, praying, lying awake nights for a bright spot to come into my life, too. I wake up each morning, shower and shave and go on about my day believing with all my heart that one of these days, something will change. I'm 56 years old and wishing I were 6.

You are posting 3 and wishing you were....well, I don't know what you're wishing beyond a computer upgrade. I would suggest that you set your sights a little bit higher than that.

Please know that I'm talking up to you, and not down at you!

The developers claim that REX will cause virtually no performance degradation. Cool stuff.

It still defeats the purpose to get a good texture set on a crappy computer...
You have to turn your display settings down so low that either way, the ground will look like vomit.
