Is there any scenery you can d/l that has the third runway added onto KSEA? I live like a mile away lol

Hmmmm, sounds like a good time to start your training young Jedi. Get ahold of the latest version of AFCAD.....2.21 I believe. Install it, review the readme and instructions and you can make the necessary runway changes. Then you can be the guy who put the third runway at ksea and we can download it and fly on it. Once you've done that, then it's on to learn an object placer utility to dress out the airport with some more eye candy. After that skill you can learn 3d modeling in order to build the new terminals and such. Welcome to the oddly addictive world of Flight Simulator. Learning to modify and optimize FS will make you an instant IT guy and before you know it, you're fixing the whole neighborhoods' computers. See you on deck,

John

I know there is a d/l for it. Where it is, slips my mind.

Try AVSIM, Simviation, and here, too.

Short answer is no one can... It is controlled by the Admin and he is MIA.

I have also seen the 3rd runway for KSEA, but I'll have to look when I get home.
BTW, I grew up in Renton (Between Coalfield and May Valley in the Highalnds)

there is only 1 slight problem that I have found when creating new Runways / Taxiways in AFCAD 2.2.1 then putting them in FS9.... sometimes, depending on location of the new scenery, there are houses / trees in the middle of the runways / taxiways. You might also need or want to look around for a default scenery "excluder" to remove the trees, houses, roads that you just paved a runway on top of.

I think I might have fibbed to you a bit... I have looked at
http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004/us.html
And the only links for sea-tac are to Filghtsim.com and Avsim.com, I have looked at both and came up empty.
One thought though, is it complete? Even the latest approach chart that Mel linked to does not show it as complete which may be why it hasn't been modeled yet.

But I thought for sure I had seen it somewhere... :?

if anyone knows where I might be able to get my hands on a .bgl excluder program, I am sure that with the help of AIRNAV.COM that i can make and probably distribute an update for KSEA. (then again, anyone could) but as for right now, as you can see in my above picture, i could not exclude the trees and houses, and lay down some sod before i built the 2 new runways.

but if i could get my hands on a scenery excluder / flattener program, then I could do A LOT of "construction" (pun intended to my proffession - water and waste)

( 1 thought i have is adding about 5 new runways to KDAL, and KATL, the 2 you see in the above pic for KCHS... then i would tackle LAX, SFO, JFK, BOS, ORD, MIA, -- pretty much all the major hubs. I would still need to figure out how to get GA to take off / land on 1 particular runway, and JUMBO / MILITARY to TO/land on the other. )

It's called scenery.org, simply the world's number one site for all things related to scenery development. In our Developer's forum Hark' has made an outstanding links thread for scenery and model development tools and tutorials.

what a nice guy captprop wash is. build a runway. on some poor chaps house. . but no i think that would be a nice addon for fs04. cause any time i try to go to seatac. theres a mile of planes waiting to take off. i think a third runway would be great. to help the flow out of there a little more.
