Can you describe the fatal error? Is it a pop-up or blue screen?

It goes to a black screen, with the little windows circle spining (old hour glass) the a pop up box with an fatal error has occurred, then another box pops up and say windows is look for a solution. After that another box will pop up and say windows is restarting microsoft fsx.

When you say it happens all the time, did it happen before installing the other aircraft?

did you install ther service packs for FSX?
are you running FSX: Acceleration (expansion)
if so did you install SP2 for FSX? (DO NOT DO THIS)

when you try it again, try to go into a windowed mode by hitting alt+ enter

Here's the scoop....if any of the aircraft you downloaded used Fs98 gauges or effects, then there's your answer. FSX will not tolerate some of the older code and you get....that's right......lockup/crash/kawabunga..... :P

Ok, thats was my way of thinking..... addons, GS may have hit the nail, check to see if any of your addon aircraft are FSX compatable, and not fs9 only.
