I've deleted all add on's and when back to the windows screen. I will let you know if it works.

PS what's a clean md 80 and 727 download that would work with fsx, and have 2d panel

sofar so good, the windows mode seems to work with no errors, I have 1 md 80 (fx 2004) plane that works fine, but does not have the 2d cockpit

| That is because the MD80 from 2k4 is an AI model, you will have to get a panel for it. You can alias the panel to the FSX default CRJ, which should do quite nicely. |

| I wouldn't fly AI aircraft. They are crippled so they don't heavily degrade performance. |

| uhmmmmmmm...not really. They have their aircraft type entry in the .air file changed to "nonflyable" to keep them from appearing in the aircraft selection menu of Fs9. Beyond that, they lack a panel and a sound folder because you are supposedly not flying them. Simply edit the .air file entry to make them flyable, add panel and sound and you have a fairly decent aircraft. Mind you they can be short on animations and also do not have damage models, but for pure flying they are as good or better than many freeware birds in their class. |
