I'm about fed up with FSX. Every time i try to log in (i've tried multiple usernames) it loads for a bit, shows my friend list, then gives me a message saying "you have been disconnected from GameSpy. You may he logged in on another computer.
I've been getting it from the start, but with other attempts have successfully logged in. NOW IT WON'T LET ME AT ALL. Every time I leave a session i get this message and have to log in. I'm sick of it! |

Gamespy has soooo many games, hundreds and hundreds of them... and at any given time, their servers might have over 20,000 people on them. My guess is they dont have the bandwidth to cover EVERY game that they offer.
My suggestion, go get FS HOST CLIENT, and FS HOST SPY. http://chocolatesoftware.com . The SPY will show you all of the available FSHOST servers that are currently running. the CLIENT will allow you to be able to connect to them.
once you have them installed and you find your server of choice, START FSX, THEN log in to the FS HOST CLIENT, switch back to FSX and pick your plane, start point, weather etc etc etc.... then go fly in FREE FLIGHT, not multiplayer. if you use the FSX HOST Client, the other players on the servers will become the AI on your screen.
hope this helps |

i dont know about Kings ports, but for the past year i have not been able to connect to Gamespy either, and i am running DMZHost which opens pretty much any port whatever program wants to open it. (there was a better connection on MSNZone for FS9 than there is on Gamespy for FSX)
If i want to fly multiplayer on FSX, i MUST use (and do recommend) FSX Host Client. |

| FSX Host Client is just to allow FSX to connect to a server running the FSHost program. |

| if anyone is intrested in getting / using the FS HOST SPY and FSX HOST CLIENT, please divert your attention to the thread http://forums.surclaro.com/ftopic14892.html where I lay out how to pretty much setup and use both of them to get your FSX multiplayer fix. (it will NOT fix your connection to GAMESPY... but you will at least be able to fly multiplayer - of sorts.) |
