Hi everyone..........
I stumbled upon this file over at Simviation today, I didn't even know it existed, or that Steve Hinson even made it...
For those of you that were unfortunate not to have been members of Surclaro when Steve was here, you missed out on a true character.
I have to admit, listening to this, brought a lump in my throat.
His freeware work was second to none, all he wanted to do, was to share his knowledge with everyone...... A truly great man.
This MP3 recording is worth a listen, not only for the information that it holds, but to get a feel of what Steve was all about, I personally built up a great friendship with him, as did many others here, none more than RD, hense........ the birth of the Hinson Memorial Flight, in his honour.
This is a direct download, you have my personal guarantee it's safe to proceed.

Listen to his voice, and if any of the information contained in the file helps you in some small way, then........ then i'm sure it will bring a smile to his face.
ENJOY
Mel. |

THAT'S the Steve-O I remember.
Steve didn't fly the B52's. He was the Crew Chief. He was in charge and over saw all repairs and maintenances of the B52's. He retired from the Air Force at Offutt Air Force Base, Strategic Air Command. Which is less than 10 miles from me.
Even today, I am glad I took the time to meet him in person. One of the best friends/people you could ever meet.
I have the bitmaps that we were going to use for the new F14 Phoenix. I'm debating whether or not to make it public, since it didn't get past animation, and therefore, never released. Brain Licker knows what I'm yapping about.
His ????, is coming up, on Oct 5. And here I am looking at the Pilots list, and who is who, and where, on a post-it note, on my monitor. Summers over, time to get this baby back on track.
Thanks Mel. O:)
