Is there a way to add AI flight traffic in FSX. Seems like there arent many planes especially at busy airports. I have my settings at full.

Thanks!

I find the easiest route is via World of AI, here: http://www.world-of-ai.com/packages.php Do not forget to download the installer first (top of the page).

All aircraft and flight plans are auto installed, you do not need to do any work..... suitable for FSX & FS9.

Thanks for the link Mel. However I am having a problem...

Here what I see on their site. I tried to DL the middle one as I assumed this one was the installer.. It shows that the file is not found. Does anyone have this program they can send me? Or know of a site that has it avail to DL?

I have just tried it myself, absolutly no problem, you may need to register at Avsim, if you have not already done so, as that's where the link sends you...

I found the problem. I was using Google chrome, I havent figured everything out with it. I went to IE and it works fine.

So if I understand correctly:
1) DL the installer
2) DL the different AI liveries from the same page
3) enjoy more AI traffic????

Is there anything I need to do other than load the programs??

Thank you Mel for your help.

There is nothing for you to do, the installer does everything.

not to jack a thread or anything...but

I did everything you guys said, and it seemed to work impressively well. Then i cranked my AI airline traffic up all the way, with all other traffic gone, went to fly, and there were only 4 or 5 planes, none of which were at KPIT (where i started). Then i cranked the GA up, started a flight, and there was absolutely no traffic! At all!

How can I get my traffic back?? THe AI i installed with the installer seemed to work, but my air traffic as a whole is very minimal!

Same here, really nothing has changed. I was looking to get more planes on the ground and in the air. I dont see anything now.

I have not really bothered with AI Traffic but after reading Mel's advice that it was dead easy to install AI Traffic,I followed the link to the Installer package, downloaded a couple of airline packages, and it all installed without any hassles in a matter of minutes.

Mind you,I have yet to see it all manifest itself at an airport or in a flight.I guess the proof of the pudding will reveal itself then, but as regards the download amd installation,it all went fairly smoothly.

i have not messed around with the AI in FSX at all yet; i have fsx, but still stick to my fs9...

i do not know if it is the same for FSX as it is for 9, but 1 of the main reasons why you may not have extra traffic at a particular airport is there is not a "flight" scheduled at that airport, for that plane, for a particular time of day. this would have to be set up and put into your flights file (i believe) to do this, you would need a program called TTOOLS.

(disclaimer.... i have not downloaded anything from world of AI... ever. so i do not know if their autoinstaller for their AI comes with flight plans. I can only assume that their 'packages' would come with flight plans.)

(edit to RD's reply below..... ok, now i know, thanks.)

TTOOLS will not work with FSX.
