Are there any addons or downloads that do the installation for you? I've read the tutorials on how to do it and I still don't get it. It may seem simple to most, but it still looks like a foreign language to me......help?......

here is your basic READ ME!!

DOWNLOAD X:
Aircraft folder goes inside your C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Aircraft folder

Gauges to Gauges

Effects to Effects

.... if it comes with scenery, this goes inside the ADDON SCENERY folder. (you will then boot up your simulator, go to SETTINGS > SCENERY LIBRARY ... browse for your new scenery and ADD the scenery to the list (moving ADDONS to keep it in position #1)

Shut it down and restart it so your sim can build/populate its scenery file with the info you just added.

[some downloads, not all though, come with what is called an AUTO-INSTALLER most of these there is no way to tell if it is an Autoinstaller or a do-it-yourself kind]

If you need more help, please do not hesitate to PM me or contact me or any of the moderators here as well will all be glad to help in any way that we can to get you up and flying.... speaking of problems, i got 1 for another post.... EDIT VOICE PACK..

If you dont mind rewarding somebody for taking the lions share of the work off your shoulders you could invest in either AdditPro or FSCommander. I have used AdditPro in both 2k2 and Fs9.1 and found it to be invaluable in managing FS. I havent purchased it for FSX yet as I am waiting on my ulitmate rig in order to run FSX native.
