Hi Cat,I am now into the route flying wirh SIDS and STAR departures and arrivals. The GPS when set on 15 miles shows the triangle waypoints so that I can follow the Arrival chart. These triangles are also on the routes .I read somewhere that they are also used for mandantory checkin points .Is this correct,?.
What does it mean when the triangles are red or blue also.
As you are the GPS expert can you explain for me.?. Regards, BP

The triangles are airway intersections I believe. And if I'm correct, the red ones are Jetway intersections and the blue ones are Victor (low altitude) airways.

Some of the others will probably have more info for ya on this.
