http://www.scenery.org/design_utilities_b.htm 'ExcBuilder' found on this page
http://www.scenery.org/design_utilities_a.htm 'BGLanilyze' found on this
page.
I've never played with 'exclude' utilities, but you may want to look into the links provided. Best of luck. :) |

What do you get when you cross a helicopter and a rhino?
....Helifino!
Sorry....I just don't have experience with this aspect of designing.
Maybe an extensive search of scenery forums and the like will shine some light on what's going on.
(Here's a good place to start researching and to post your problem:
http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17
Maybe another member has some experience with these applications?
EDIT: Is there any support from the person that created the software 'ExcBuilder'? |

what kind of scenery are you editing.
Are you making an airport, some terrain mesh, a photo-realistic satellite based ground textures?
Because i know from first hand experience that both those tools kinda suck....
For airports use Airport Design Editor (ADE)
For Terrain Mesh, i have no idea
For photo-realistic satellite based ground textures, use SBuilder
By the Way, what version of FS are you using
and welcome to the wonderful (HAHAHA) world of Scenery Design  |

You have to dig around at the Scenery Hall Of Fame (SHOF) for what you want. Find the 'Tutorials' section and download a whack of specific instruction on all and any aspects of scenery design. Expect to visit the site and spend a while perusing all the tutorials offered...as well as just about any Freeware app that you would need to design scenery.
Also visit FSDeveloper and FreeFlight Design Shop.
FSDeveloper for downloads and their forums and WIKI, etc.
FFDS for their forums and for the Tips, Tutorials, Resources and Utilities sections. |

for Exclusions... i use Sbuilder (2nd down on page http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/downloads.php?do=cat&id=5 ) --- you can exclude, place objects, and a lot more.
there are also all sorts of information that is on that page, so take your time. My KDVI - Desert View International scenery did not get built in a week. It took me almost 3 MONTHS to get it to where I could upload it, and countless emails (okay... about 75) with the beta tester that was guiding me along the way.
2 other pages you or someone else might want to check out are below, which have been HIGHLY instrumental to my scenery design,
http://scenery.org/tutorials_fs2k4_SDK.htm
and
http://www.scenery.org/tutorials.htm
Speaking of which, I should probably go work on my 50j - Berkeley County Municiple airport - upgrade. (sigh) but then again it is Saturday, and i feel like being lazy. lol -- hey HARK!? now i know how you feel!! lol {btw, still waiting on the seats for the cars.. lol} |

Ha...I got you all beat. He is still waiting on me to finish the panel and views for the W.A.S.P. project.
No, I am not a government contractor, I can bring it in at least a couple of hours sooner. |
