Has anyone noticed over the years that if you create a flight and don't actually change the time of day setting that it throws at you by default, FS9 starts flights at night more often than not?
Just curious.

GOTSHA:

I'll bet you fly more often at night than you fly during the day. I suspect you are seeing more night flights because you don't have your SETTINGS--GENERAL options set correctly. I can't remember how FS9 works. However, in FSX there is a setting called "SYSTEM TIME FOR FREE FLIGHT". I'll bet that FS9 has a similar setting. 8) 8)

Interesting, I'll have to have a look for that one in FS9. I rarely fly at night though, so I'm not sure what's going on yet. It's just a bit of a pain if I'm creating a flight and don't pay attention to the 'Season and Time' field...I have to start over most times and select an earlier time of day.

If you are stuck on GMT and use system time and fly only after work or dinner then yes, you will find yourself "in the dark"....lol.
