I don't like FS-X. The graphics is terrible, no buildings, no trees, just generic white taxiways and runways. I don't like the controls. Back to FS-9 for me, waste of $40.

If you want to see what FSX is all about, you really need a good machine and DX10 capable graphics.

Sorry to hear that Larry. But GS is right.

If your really good with FS9 on your system, then you'll be somewhat disappointed running FSX. To see all the glory, you need either W-7 or VISTA, and a DX10 or DX11 compatible video card. If not, it will suck butt.

My FSX is only good for testing, and 1 time screenshots if i max everything out. Other than that...... Im sticking with my trusty-rusty FS9!

As with all new software purchases, always take the time to read the System Requirements on the software packaging before doling out your hard earned cash or handing over your plastic + interest.

But in your defense, I'm pretty sure that most of us here have all made the same mistakes at one time or another since the good old "wireframe" days of FS/Sublogic.

Anyone remember those days?

Larry, keep youself tuned here in the Surclaro Forums for the best FS support in the world. Bar none! Bookmark it, And make a desktop shortcut! And always stay tuned. You'll learn more here by mistake than elswhere by design!

Jaeg!

I felt the same way until i added a little RAM and downloaded the service packs.

I think the service packs from microsoft will fix your ugly taxiways, and my scenery on FSX is better than it ever was on FS9. You just have to tweak a little bit
