I have tried using those souped up Video Card drivers from places like Omega, and others. They do give me a considerable jump in Framerates with FS9, but i cannot get the screen resolution in the Sim to go beyond 800x600 for some reason. If i change it, it just reverts back to the 800x600 setting. And any other changes i make like adjustments to graphics or whatever just revert back as well. What gives with this ? Anybody else have this problem ? I would love to keep using these drivers, but with the 800x600 resolution whats the point ? half of the panels, and a/c out there have to be run in at least 1024x768 to use them.

is your monitor correctly identified?

a generic monitor not correctly by windows might prevent you from getting higher resolution
