Anyone using Voice Buddy? I was looking at purchasing it and looking for comments good or bad. I know they advertise on the site so it may be a bit touchy.........Oh, I am using the Plantonics dsp 500 headset now (USB) type. Does anyone know if there is a compatability issue there?
Thanks.

I have been using Voice Buddy for several months and really love the product. They recommend a good headset so I purchase a nice mid-priced headset from PLANTRONICS.
I do not know if they like headsets that connect via USB connectors. Therefore, you may wish to check their website and send an email to their Customer Support department. 8) 8) |

Good point.I will send an email to their support group. I noticed they have a 30 day money back guarantee as well. Did you download the version or did they send you an actual disk?
Thanks! |

Don't forget...you need Microsoft Speech SDK. I have version 5.1. I didn't like the MS voices so I bought the AT&T Natural voices pack. Waaay better.
It is pretty cool. Takes a load off you when you have to concentrate on other things...
But again, it takes some of the computing power away from you processor...
I don't know about the USB headset either. It should work I guess. Give them a shout as suggested by Skipperdan.

| I downloaded the original Version 1.0 and then later downloaded the "free upgrade" to Version 2.0. 8) |

while on the subject.
Does one need to have a sound card or is the on board sound sufficient.
@Exxman, where did you get the AT&T program? |

| My motherboard has high quality sound features built into it. Therefore, as long as you have jacks for a headset and a microphone, you should be OK. |

new version of FSM should be released next week (been working quite hard on the release) - and will support voice macros. |

@Yellowbird...
You can get AT&T voices at www.nextup.com. And onboard sound is fine as long as you can utilize hardware/software acceleration.
