ok so i have the VOR Freq. in Nav1.
i get the reading and distance...
what do i do with the OBS.. do i turn it till the Vor heading lines up? do i turn it to heading i am flying? or do i leave it as it is???

It really depends what you want to do with the VOR
If you just want to go straight to it you can turn it till the needel lines up then turn and fly the heading and just keep the needle centered
If you want to track a radial then you dial up that radial and then intercept it
Radials are used for IFR approches and IRF naviagation as well as real world navigation where landmarks are not easily seen |
