There was a program for converting FS04 skins into .bmps (i believe) and then back to textures that fs9 uses.
Is it called DXTool maybe? |

Another one that goes chicks in trail with DXT is ImageTool. Came with FS2002. Takes over when DXT won't allow editing or loading of certain types of bitmaps. I haven't seen it around lately but I'm sure it's out there.

Yeah Exx, Image Tool was something I was going to mention but by "skins" I assumed he was talking about A/C only.
I know you can get Image Tool from the gmax site by downloading the FS2004 gamepack, I think you can also get it from the Microsoft FS site with the FS2004 SDK downloads.
I use DXT for A/C and Image Tool for gmax scenery textures. |
