|
|
Hello friends,
I have 2004 and I downloaded a panel for the MD80, followed the instructions and now in all aircraft loaded I get a "rolling white transparent rectangle, instead of the usual white shoreline wave action.
Anyone able to assist.
Thanks in advance.

I downloaded the following (MD81 panel) hpmd80bl.zip.
I think what I did was to "dump" the Gauge folder files into the FS gauge Folder. I remember saying yes to overwriting sm_wav??? and lg_wav???
Thanks |

Not that I am aware of. It is puzzeling.
Perhaps I need to reinstall FS original gauges only. If I can do that?
Or maybe find out what the files are for the wave action.
Thanks |

Don't think its your gauges folder. Something in your FS9/Textures folder most likely. If you hava a backup of it...try reinstall. If not, just reinstall the default FS9/Textures off your FS9 install discs.
Try that...oh and ya...a screenie please. Good idea Mythrilfan.

Thank you good fellows for your assistance. I will try tonight the reinstall the textures from FS.
Failing that I will post a screen shot tomorrow (In the office right now).
Many thanks.

| The same thing happened to me when I was in flight simulator. I think it happened when I installed new scenery, textures, or effects because I couldn't see the waves or effects like contrails and landing effects. Check to see if that's that's the problem because they'll show up as invisible smoke and the waves are white reectangles. The thing that worked was I just reinstalled flight smulator and it started working. (I suggest you back up your downloaded planes so that you don't have to reinstall the) |
