| you have to double check your settings when choosing a color or tool, be especially careful to check "opacity", more opacity means more solid, less opacity means less solid. |

or you are missing your lightmap.
Daytime textures go like: fuselage_left_T.bmp
Darktime textures go like: fuselage_left_L.bmp
Daytime=T
Darktime=L
If you don't have an 'L' texture...just load up your T one, make it all black and save it with the 'L' added instead of the T.
Hope you get it working...
