Want to complete my aircraft home airport hangar, but don't know what this plane is. I mean the one on the far left(or right, there's the same plane).

Edit:for those of you who are looking for the picture i removed the link because i already got an answer. try looking for an-76 if you want to know what we were talking about... i would appreciate it if a mod locked the topic please

That would be an Antonov AN-72/74.

I think that's an American Airlines Boeing 757. You can see the "pencil" fuselage shape as many call it.

I'm talking about the one on the banner. If that's even what you're asking.

It wouldn't be an "Antonov AN-72/74" as ricktobin said. American doesn't have that model in their fleet.

He's talking about the A/C with the "over the wing engines".

It is definately not an American made A/C. The only A/C in a banner on this page is in Exxman's banner and that's a 747.

EDIT: There isn't one American made A/C in the whole pic as a matter of fact, they all appear to be Soviet A/C...the largest of which appears to be a Tupelov.

EDIT #2: Where do you even see an American Airlines A/C in that pic treman?

Mythrilfan...don't forget...you can't put pics up of anything from airliners.net without the owner's authorization. You can put up links to their pics on anet's site here though. You can't use their pics without permission...period.
