Just saw the Aviator. Not a bad movie at all.

What I wanted to ask was if there are fs2002 models of the main aircraft:

the H-4 hercules

the xf-11

the H-1 B racer

and that cool other flying boat type aircraft...
didn't find any of them here not avsim

There is a Hughes H1B racer on the sim outhouse website. Just do a google on hughes h1 fs2004 if you can't be bothered with the hunt. Plane is by Tim 'piglet' Conrad -and is terrific.

Someone may care to correct me on this, but I believe that the XF11 is available by the codename 'rainbow'. I can't recall where I downloaded it from, hope you have more luck.

Now, anyone care to tell me where can I get the travelair mystery ship or the laird super solution??????

Just type in what you are looking for, and Google will find it for you. Good things come to people that search. [-o<

i'm a lowsy searcher but not THAT lowsy. i KNOW google is supposed to find it for me. unfortunately it does not always point my search out very specifically. Try searching "george" for info on George W. Bush...

The world wide web, internet or whatever you want to call it does not have every single piece of information ever known by every single human being for all time. When using search engines, being as specific as possible and trying different combinations of keywords will help. Did you try typing in the aircraft descriptions just as you stated them in your question at the start of this thread? If so and it seemed too confusing a list because of the number of hits on all the seperate words, try using a + between the words or placing your search phrase within ".......". There are also other methods of refining your search. One last note, Google, while very good, does not even check the entire web/net. Try using one or more search engines. Also, go to your local library, or place a request with the National Air and Space Museum for information.

I just wanted to ask if someone has made any models of the aircraft mentioned above and if anyone knew any links for them. I will NOT ask the NASM for them. Don't think they have em...

Then just put "for fs2002" at the end of the aircraft name you are searching for. A lot of the hits will be for questions just like yours in other forums. Check the link/url line under each hit to see if it is a forum thread so you dont waste time, but often checking other forums will provide answers too. During a search I made, that's how I found what I was looking for. Checked a couple of the forum threads that Google had hit on, and lo and behold, the question had been answered by somebody who wasnt a member here, but had answered it for somebody else at that forum who had the same question I did.

Are you for real Myth? You want info on George W. Bush and you think typing in 'George' is the best search method? No wonder you can't find anything!? The posts here have tried to help you and turn around and slam the door on em.

I see no reason why anyone would want to assist you with the attitude that you have. The lack of answers to your questions here will be proof of that.

Exxman you are so right. I re-read the posts i wrote.
Oh my god what have I done to myself  : I'm a monster!

To anyone i've insulted with this or a different post: I'm sorry! Really!
I even got an explanation why i'm so grumpy: Exams are nearing...i'm trying to get into high school..."enteringexams" as we call them are very demanding... i'm under a lot of stress. Maybe i should take a break from these forums? Not that they have anything to do with my brain but i can also see that my posts have lately became...insulting and...unpleasant.
Now for the answers i have not written yet or have answerred too sarcastically.

Exx, i'm not serious about searching "George".
VRT, i'm sorry. I have, logically, already searched that. Didn't find anything. I just thought that maybe you had a link waiting there for me... 8-[
FD, the same to you.
GS, you have (logically as it seems now to me too...) misunderstood me. I've been using the net for I dunno half of my life and i know how google works. I also know how to find and what to look at the results.
GS#post: i already had done that too. Makes sense to me.

Oh and...i finally found the H-1. Now how about those other ones?

No but really what's the name of the other, small seaplane?

And finally... really do search google before and after a post where i ask if anyone had a link. you see that's the point. I don't want anyone to work their a*ses of for me, i jus task in case someone already has the link.

Sorry again.

You see we have a game here similar to dodge ball called language ball, sometimes we catch it and sometimes we get hit by it. In any case, we usually work our way through it. My earlier suggestion for contacting the National Air and Space museum was to gain the technical info you were looking for with respect to the correct production names for the aircraft you were looking for, and as you stated they certainly would not have stuff for FS. Since I am now aware that when you ask for something you have exhausted normal research, I will keep my eyes open while I am cruising my resources and if I happen upon something relative, I will post back. Good luck on your exams and see you on deck. :D

I understand how searching can be hard. For example when I was (even more of) a young-in I searched for "blow fish" and found many pages of *beep*. That and the fact that Google is "Searching 8,058,044,651 web pages" sometimes makes it tough.

For the beep well I was saying was Papa Oscar Romeo November

Hey Groundsquirrell. What is this library thing that you speaketh about? Most kids of today can't research a paper without a computer. That is also why their grammar is so poor, they don't know how to spell because all they have to do is hit spell check and it fixes everything, and the most irritating thing of todays' children. they get jobs working a cash register and they can't even do basic math! Jeez, I'm starting to sound like my Father!

http://www.avsim.com/pages/contrails/scartwright/contrails_scartwright.html took me 60 seconds to find this one

http://b314clipper.com/ this one looks interesting too...

The Connie and the Howard 500 (the aircraft he used to fly around the world in 4 days) are also available, but because searching for it is way too easy....I will let you do it. Can't make a mistake
