Hands down it is the GeForce 6800 Ultra... but you will need about $549.00 and tax for that. Either PCI-X or AGP... that is the best card on the market... there is no comparison! I will be upgrading to it in about 1 month or so because I just refuse to spend less money on something that I wish I would have waited to get the better one. I know it is alot of money for it... but when you look at the overall picture... it comes down to roughly $1.50 a day to own it... and you will not need to upgrade that for quite some time! =D>

Also you might want to think about getting more ram too. It never hurts... also check to make sure that this card is compatible with your system if you choose to wait and get it... it is spendy... but worth every penny in my book!

My current system specs are...

Asus A8V Deluxe M/B
AMD 3000+ 64 Bit
1 Gig of Ram
40 GB Seagate Master Drive
200GB Seagate SATA Drive ( 8 MB Cache )
MSI GeForce 5600 FX 256 Meg AGP 8X
52X CD-RW
16X DVD
Sound Blaster Audigy

I can run flight sim on max graphics but to get better performance I need to up my video card as well. Just some ideas for ya!

I'd recommend ATI. I have PNY technologies now and I don't know if that is a super great graphics card. However, flight simulator seems to work fine on that card.

Don't overspend, as you will crave something else later. LOL. For example, I received a nice, but not high-end computer with a good processor. I liked it for a while. But technology advances so fast. And only a month after, I craved something else, the video card.

I'm more into study now, I don't game much. But I do enjoy playing.

Good luck.

About your signature..........

Just post something random, like mine lol...
I'd recommend something like this:

CANNOT VIEW PROPERLY
**or**
Content Loading......

The two signatures above sometimes confuse people. Have fun making up your own.

(By the way, one of my friends actually waited 30 mins for the signature when I put 'content loading' as my signature LMAO)

Good luck.....

I have a laptop
Pentium 4
RAM:894
Vid mem:128mb

Graphics are nice. If you have Vid mem (shared) then you just have to upgrade your RAM. But if not 64-128 is good. 256mb would be nice. Go to best buy.com.

Hope it helps. :D
