I'm running FS2002 PRO. I can install and fly many FS2004 aircraft. They run flawlessly. The FS2004 aircraft come with the Garmin GPS's already installed as pop-ups. They won't operate for me until I install the Garmin 430, 500, and 530 programs into my FlightSim2002 Pro. Presently, I only have GPS capabilities, when it's the older version, default GPS from FlightSim2002. How do I install the programs to operate the newer style Garmin GPS's, once I've downloaded the programs? Can someone quickly, ( but simply and clearly ), run me through the installation process? Do I unzip the downloaded Garmin zip files into the Modules folder? And then, must I modify the config. files of those individual aircraft that possess the newer style Garmin GPS's as pop-up windows? I can follow your instructions, if you're willing to tell me what to do. I'm tired of so many of my GPS's not running, ( especially when I'm lucky enough to have those aircraft up and running so well ). Thank You for coming to my aid, whoever you will be. Thanks a lot.........Russell

Like I always say, Exxman, you're the greatest! Thank You for the referral. I just want to get the Garmins to function. They're already installed within the downloads, as pop-ups. So, I don't care about installing them in my aircraft panels, or creating windows for them. I just want the Garmins to function when they pop-up. So, whatever programs or modules I need to install, I want to install. Hopefully Bob Holland will get me squared away. Thanks........Russell

Are the gauges for the Garmin in your FS9/Gauges folder? Have you turned the unit on?

Try that.

I'll try that, and see what happens. I'm not running FS9. I'm running FS2k2 Pro. Will that make a difference?
