Will some kind simmer please tell me what I am doing wrong. Airbuses fly beautifully on FS02 Pro. [Windows XP] However I dare not touch the 'Y' Slew button for the moment the slew is cancelled the aircraft set off at a rate of knots and are quite out of control.
It is driving this old man potty....been flying ten years and never met enything like ths. |

| Make sure your joystick is truly centered before going into slew mode or you will jet off into the next dimension :lol: . You can hit "P" pause before setting into slew mode to help aleviate the immediate problem, then be certain that all controls are centered before releasing the pause. |

Thank you for a prompt reply. I have followed your suggestions but alas, no success. It is really bizarre. Even if I just set an Airbus on the runway and press Y twice - it is off, full throttle, flying and no working controls.

Sounds like your joystick is stuck. Slightest diff can do that. Judging by the fact that you have no control over the a/c I'd say recalibrate your jstick, check connections and if available, try another jstick. Or you could disconnect it and use keyboard only and see if it still happens.

My thanks to you for your interest. I have just tried it: unplugged the joystick completely and alas.....same behaviour from the slew command.
Have also checked all assignments in case joystick had anything untoward, but no, all seem OK. Anyway they all work with the other forty aircraft I have. It only applies to the Airbus. I will just have to stop cheating then trying to slew into the gates !!
