|
|
| I downloaded an f16 fighter jet thingy and I really like how its easy to fly. Is there some way of making Boeing 747s fly like those f16s? I don't have a problem flying the boeing planes but I just wanted to make flying a little more enjoyable |

well tweaking the aircraft.cfg file should do the trick. I personally have only opened them to install textures, so i wouldn't know. Some of the guys will soon be here and then you will hear about it more.
BTW it's a very nice idea  tell us how it went afterwards |

| That would be an experiment to behold. It would involve many modifications. A few that I can think of would be to use the .air file of the F-16, then use the aircraft data from the F-16's aircraft.cfg to modify the 747's with. We would have to retain the 747's .mdl for it to appear correctly.........might be fun to try and see if it can be done. Anybody up for Frankenstein's Airlines? |

| I was on multiplayer yesterday, and i met this person that could do stunts with 777, 747, and even AN-225. all you have to do is set payload to 0, and set the fuel tanks to low. if there is a center tank, keep the others empty and fuel the center tank up not too much. then happy acrobatics flying:) |

| I did a stunt with a 747. I flew upside down. I just made sure that the realism settings were set to easy. :D |

Good Heavens!! Next we'll be wanting our real-life Honda Civic's to handle and perform like Corvettes!!
Oh, well, should be an open hobby, and ALWAYS, to each his/her own (was a great song, too - oops, showing my vintage again)

| But, Sir Richard, havent you been in traffic lately? They are making their Hondas perform and handle like Corvettes. I will have to hand it to the younger crowd though, it is a lot easier to find a parking spot for a Civic then for a 72 Plymouth Fury III  |

I am now working on the flight dynamics for the Frankenstien 747. Will let you all know when I get it done.
I can now go mach 2.3 without overspeed and structural failure, as my settings are set to hard and real.
