|
|
I have a decent lap top and can not get more than 20 fps and the game gets a little laggy, like im low on memory.
Toshiba sattelite p25-s526
p4 ht 3.2 ghz
512ddr ram
g-force fx 5200 32mb
80gig hdd
What could I do to get more fps. Any programs I could get to shut down any useless programs or anything similar. |

Your FX5200 is the bottleneck. Good card but not for the faster processors like yours. Suggest an upgrade of that to like a 5900 or 66xx series. They scream with the processor you have...

But what other choice is there? Either upgrade if you can, buy another system or deal with it...right? The issue of it being hard or not is irrelevant. Laptops serve a more focused purpose as opposed to a desktop PC.
Good luck to ya wblteen...
