well...not that I'm supporting this kind of action...

but...

You could always burn onto a CD all of your a/c in your FS9 folder, then when the teacher's back is turned...copy/paste them into the FS9 folder of the school's PC...and hope he/she doesn't know the diff between the default a/c and addons...lol.

Again, not that I'm supporting this kind of action...
Good job. Gone are the days of the apple eh...

Exx, when was the last time you saw an apple being given to a teacher?
Heck, they are sleeping with the students now!

I don't condone zipping/ copying your add-on's to a CD/ flash drive and installing them "behind the teachers back". Just tell him you want to do it, to "increase the realism" of the sim. And make sure that all the stuff you have is really freeware or shareware!
I guess his hang-up is the downloading of additional items?

Heehehee...you c r a c k me up.

Heard about the apple/teacher thang ages ago. Never saw it personally.

As for the inappropriate relationships between teachers/students...thats why I got suspended for 3 months in HS and failed French 10. Teacher fared far worse, she was convicted and served 4 years. Statutory Rape is what it's called up here, although it was consentual, I was a minor.

Good call on the 'talk to the teacher' bit. Still, if that don't work then I say he uploads the stuff on the PC and tells teach it's part of the default a/c.!!

I suspect that the teacher is trying to protect the school's computers from a virus. No-a-days, you'all have to be very careful about what you download from the internet. It may be a school policy that prevents students from downloading files from the internet.

I agree that you are probably better off to burn a CD and bring it into class and let the teacher make the decision about what can and can not be stored on the school's computers.

If you try to load computer files without the teacher's permission, both you and the teacher could get into deep trouble. 8) 8)

Most school computers have some software that disables students from downloading content from the internet, But if you are computer litterate like me, you can disable stuff (not recommended unless needed). When my PC was down, I downloaded my files from school and put them on a flash drive. :P
