| Can someone give me a tip or something to calculate or guess the distance between me and the airport on approach?? |

| Punch in a direct-to on the gps (the funny looking shape) and it will give you distance & time. |

Method #1
Keep on eye on the DME (Distance Measurement Equipment) if there is one at the airport.
Method #2
Click on the FLIGHT PLAN ICON of your GPS. This screen will display the distance between waypoints and it will also display the distance to the approach runway once you reach your final destination. This is the same advice that Paul stated above.8) 8) |
