Hey stewpot, when adding scenery files you need to put them in the Addon Scenery folder located in the main FS9 folder. Scenery packages come with at least two folders, one Scenery, and the other Texture.
Inside the FS9/ADDON Scenery folder put the downloaded scenery files in the scenery folder and the downloaded texture files in the texture folder.
If, in your scenery library in FS, you have ADDON SCENERY set as the highest priority over all other scenery objects you won't have to worry about activating the added files, it will automatically be loaded before anything under it in the file hierarchy. |
