Hi, i was wondering if anybody has installed the China SRTM series of mesh files by TANTRiS...i found them on avsim, and I have looked at several different sites that explain the mesh installation and they cover a lot about this mesh priority system that I still don't understand. I'm interested in installing this mesh, but i want to know how to do it correctly. Has anyone actually tried this out?

ehhhh.....lets see....if it all came in one folder like tons of files n stuff.... go to ur FS9 folder/Addon Scenery
make a new folder called...lets say "China SRTM" or whatever u want it doesnt matter.
put all the files that u got in it
start up FS9 and go to Settings, Scenery Library, click add scenery (or something like that) and find "China SRTM" Click on it but dont open it and press ok. it'll tell u to restart FS9 when u apply the settings n stuff so do that and it should work....i'm kinda hazy on that i haven't done that in a little while....anybody else know? cuz i could be WAY off haha just tryin to help though. |
