Need help:
What's the meaning of this message that I see poping on my screen, and do I need to fix something in my setting?
"Your computer cannot currently use 3D hardware acceleration, software 3-D mode has been enabeld.Some graphical featuresmay not appear in software mode"
?
My computer:
Sony- VAIO
2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4
512 MB SDRAM
Hard disk 80 GB
Graphics- Intel 845GV Memory size: 64 Mb

That means that your graphics accelerater can not handle 3d acceleration and so it is being emulated by the system through a software rendering process. You will still be able to run 3d programs at reduced efficiency and some items may not appear properly. It's kinda like having your little sister baby sit, most things will get done, but it's going to take mom to do it right. You need to consider a graphics card with the power and memory on board to handle full 3d acceleration and it should be plugged into a motherboard that can handle the bus/communication speed to make it all happen.

I solved it.
I started the sim. with "SAFE MODE" by mistake -I was so distracted by my new PMDG 737. But now after a "regular " start-up my 3D and all the rest are doing good.
