Hi gang:
I'm trying to get the SDK files (BGLCOMP & MakeMDL) working so I can fiddle with some scenery (this oughta be a performance worth watching). The doc's for these two SDKs say you must have MSMXL 4 running beforehand, and that MSXML 4 can be found at the MS website. Right-O...doing a search on MS brings up a myriad of different MSXML things....can someone tell me exactly what I'm supposed to download...I mean the exact file name? I saw everything from documentation to patches to fixes to upgrades to Service Packs...but I didn't see anything that implied just MSXML 4.0 itself.
Thanks,
Garry |

Hey Garry, try this link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=3144b72b-b4f2-46da-b4b6-c5d7485f2b42&displaylang=en
Go to the bottom of the page and look for the download link "msxml.msi". I believe that is what you're looking for. They've changed the site around (and changed some names) a bit since I installed it. That should be it. |

Thanks Rick...much appreciated.
The blasted documentation doesn't give any extensions, just that MSXML4 is required, and that it can be found at the MS site! Kinda poorly written, is my opinion.
I'll give it a go and see what happens.
Thanks again,
Garry |

Gary,
Just seen this string on a general wander round. Yes it is confusing, but I think I've got it sorted out.
What I want to know is can you open already compiled files to alter them, for example Latitude and Longitude to get airbases in exactlly the right place.
