Thought you artists might get a kick out of Alaska Airlines new livery. It's called, no kidding, the "Salmon Thirty Salmon".

That is funny.

I just saw it on the news tonight and was telling my wife I need to let Exxman see and possibly paint this new bird. I saw what the real thing looks like. VERY, VERY COOL.

Exxman, got some free time, hint, hint.

They've been featuring this scheme for awhile now over here in Seattle. I have seen it myself and I must say it represents us over here very well. Alaska Air has done a great job organizing this livery.

Sorry if I'm mistaken but

I read a article about this
paint and the reason why
the paint is like this
is because there was a
time where alaska airlines
had a salmon hit their cockpit window
during flight, and the pilots
think this happend because a
eagle was carring a salmon
and may have accidentaly
droped it........

once in a life time huh

That's very possible, though happens rarely. But the salmon falling on a cockpit window must have been disturbing!

the plane was on takeoff so it wasn't very high
at the moment when the salmon hit the plane

plus they made an emergency landing right after the hit
