Believe it or not after i re-installed XP and all the drivers, then i installed FS9. When i opend flight sim every airplane i downloaded was in there. Two things on how it could have happened:

1) I had an extenal hard drive with files of A/C and i was putting them to my computer's hd.

never mind just one comment, not 2.

Any ideas on how it happend?
not saying that was a bad thing but it is just weird 8O .

Reinstalling FS over the old folder will not delete/remove your existing addons. Only installs the default FS setup and programs.

I know but i did a full re-install of WINDOWS, meaning i earased everthing on my hard drive.

Hmmm..okay. Good one! So you installed FS after Xp, didn't install anything else but all your addons were there as well? Was the external drive hooked up when you botted up FS?

yes it was. but even though i unhooked it and rebooted they were still there. only the aircraft were there and i did not install any addons. 8O

Then it didn't format completely. It happens. That is why there are third-party programs for formatting etc.
