Hey all,

This is probably old news to some, and new to others.

There is a protective skin that you can put on your game DVD's, CD's, whatever that is a disk. It is very cheap to get, and DOES work very well.

So, if you want to keep your DVD's or CD's basically forever, then I would highly suggest getting them. No more whining " My Disk 4 won't read anymore.....HELP". Got it? Good, GET IT !!!

Hey RD,
I got a quick question...is it at all POSSIBLE to use saran wrap as a disk protector? I have heard jokes about that, and even considered doing that myself. I just wanted to ask before i went experimenting.

King,

I personally wouldn't try it. There isn't any that makes it bond to the CD. And even the sticky food wrap that is out isn't garuanteed to stay on either.

Considering how fast the disk spins, I doubt if saran wrap would maintain a seal against the bottom of the disk. Looks like this product might be clear vinyl, and very very thin.
